# Components:
→ Citrus
01 - 3 large lemons, juiced (approximately 3/4 cup juice)
→ Roots & Spices
02 - 2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
03 - 2-inch piece fresh turmeric, peeled and chopped (or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric)
04 - 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
→ Liquid Base
05 - 1 cup filtered water
→ Optional Sweetener
06 - 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Place lemon juice, chopped ginger, turmeric (fresh or ground), filtered water, black pepper, and sweetener if using into a blender. Process on high speed until completely smooth and no visible chunks remain.
02 - Line a fine-mesh sieve with cheesecloth if desired. Pour blended mixture through sieve into a clean bowl, pressing with a spatula to extract maximum liquid. Discard pulp solids.
03 - Transfer strained liquid to ice cube trays, filling each compartment evenly. Wipe any spills to prevent cubes from sticking together.
04 - Place trays in freezer for minimum 2 hours or overnight until completely firm. For long-term storage, transfer frozen cubes to freezer-safe bags.
05 - Remove 2 cubes per serving. Dissolve in warm water for tea, blend into smoothies, or consume directly as concentrated wellness shot.
