Pesto Cranberry Turkey Melt

Featured in: Comfort Food

This melt layers tender turkey breast with aromatic basil pesto, tangy cranberry sauce, and melted provolone cheese between slices of golden, buttery sourdough bread. Cooked on a skillet until perfectly crisp, it balances sweet, savory, and herbal notes for a satisfying meal. Ideal for holiday leftovers or a quick, flavorful lunch, this melt is easy to prepare in under 20 minutes.

Butter is spread on the bread’s outer sides, while pesto and cranberry sauce dress the inside, creating complementary flavors and a moist texture. The sandwich is grilled until the cheese melts smoothly, binding the layers. Variations include swapping cheeses and using multigrain bread, allowing customization to taste and dietary preferences.
