03 - 2 cups milk of choice (dairy, oat, almond, or soy)

05 - 1/4 teaspoon pure peppermint extract

# Directions:
01 - Sift matcha powder into a small bowl to eliminate lumps.
02 - Add hot water to matcha and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk or milk frother until smooth and frothy.
03 - Warm milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming but not boiling. Stir in maple syrup or honey and peppermint extract.
04 - Froth the milk using a frother or whisk vigorously to create foam.
05 - Divide matcha mixture evenly between two mugs. Pour the hot, frothed peppermint milk over the matcha.
06 - Optionally, top with whipped cream and crushed peppermint candies. Serve immediately.
